Pinned and welded muzzle devices

Why would anyone ever desire their muzzle device to be pinned and welded? to make it harder for the ATFags to frame you?

The State will frame you no matter what you own or do not own.

They can fill your house with machine guns and nuclear bombs and then (((media))) will tell the sheep that you were a White Nationalist Terrorist (tm) and 80% of the population will believe it.

right so why would you ever pin and weld your muzzle?

Let’s say you built an upper for an ar and you decided to use a 14” barrel. This is technically illegal as a rifle must have a barrel of at least 16”. Your options are to have a sbr and file the proper “tax” stamp paperwork with the atf, OR you could get a muzzle device that is 2” long and pin and weld the device to the shorter barrel thus making the short barrel “permanently” 16” long. Of course you could just do nothing at all and keep your mouth shut as well. But that is your call. The above is what the law states in regard to your question.

so this all has to do with the carbine length barrels, and the muzzle needs to be welded on order for it to be 16” legal? it can’t just be screwed on?

Correct. Being able to unscrew it would make it a short barrel rifle by the faggot atf standards. They consider the pin and weld permanent.

What about threaded oil filters? Are those regulated yet? Or you just get calls from the atf.

Otherwise it might fall off and then how would the bullets know where to go?
