Heres my hair-brained theory on the sun. Its not nuclear fusion. Rather its hydrogen igniting. Space has practically an infinite amount of radio waves. The radio waves get pulled into the suns massive gravity and ignite the salt water planet. H20 splits into H and OH because of the energy from the radio waves, then is ignited by those same high energy waves, back to water vapor again which pulled back to the sun via supercooled sunspots. It lasts for so long much like how earth cant run out of water in an enclosed system no matter how often water evaporates, neither does the sun. Except on the sun the water vapor injects back into the surface through a method not understood because it is very different than rain and clouds that we have have on earth with very mild gravity by comparison.
Here is the idea exhibited on a micro level. Pay attention to how hot it gets and how the water doesnt even seem to be running out.
