That's interesting because my experience was different. I went about six years ago, and I don't recall seeing very many attractive women. The good looking ones were mostly on TV and in ads. I spotted maybe a couple of good looking ones IRL, but an overwhelming amount of them were plain. Not ugly, not beautiful. Just... plain.

On the positive side, there were hardly any fatties. Out of thousands of people that I noticed (10,000+ likely), I saw maybe three overweight Japs at most. Two I distinctly recall, the third one, not so much. One was a slob in a wife-beater with dyed hair that was so portly that it looked like a gaijin from afar, and the other was a chubby woman on a bike that crashed into a hapless Japanese woman walking on the sidewalk lol
