Also, I tuned in to the last 10 minutes. There was no audio and no textual clues as to what the fuck was happening (just a flood of emojis in the chat), so it looked like his cup-o-noodles was done and he took it out with tongs, walked off, end of stream.
That's kind of what I was guessing, but having no empirical data to go by I had to formulate a hypothesis based on observation.
Now that it's over, there is no indication of where a person might pursue the results. I'll go to my grave wondering what the hell ever happened to his noodles.
I predict that given the forethought and quality of this presentation, the experimenter will fail to create a RTSC and we will continue our servitude to our energy overlords. Then again, I wouldn't expect a real scientist to excel in public presentations, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
