I have.
I know the counter-position and I know the story we tell ourselves.
You're free to dislike his position, but I see it differently.
We live in a society of cowards.
We are so beaten that there is literally nothing that would cause us to fight.
Was he right?
Don't care.
He was a man who genuinely felt his only recourse was to fight the system he felt unjustly deprived him of his livelihood and rights.
If more of us were like that, things would be different.
Not everyone would be just, not everyone would be right.
But they would fight.

He is interesting if the conversation has to do with human potential and what humans are capable of.

In the end this was really just an issue of where the poop goes, right? A new development adjoining his property cut his sewer lines and the county shut his business down because he wasn’t connected to the sewer.

The real question in real estate, for the entire history of mankind, has been “where does the poop go?”
