Yes this kind of car made by the company mini which was not technically a mini Cooper but it was a bigger version of a mini Cooper did have completely computer controlled throttle and brake which good hackers have shown are the types of systems that are fairly easy to hack.
Had seen most of those with the exception of that recording that was supposed to show the firefighters radio recordings which I did not hear in the video at all there was no sound? I did not realize no one even realized she was in the car for 20 or 30 minutes. That's just inexcusable and unbelievable and less of course it was planned and the very odd discussions about her never recovering consciousness which we were told until that video came out that showed her clearly trying to escape the gurney and being shoved into the ambulance quickly looks like a girl who's being kidnapped. Whole thing is a very strange.
Yes, after 30 minutes in a car that is supposedly burning so fiercely that experienced firefighters are unable to approach (yet are confident that there is no one in the vehicle) she is placed on a gurney (no straps or restraints) covered with a sheet and wheeled to a van whereupon she sits up with no sign of burning on her skin and a full head of fairly tidy hair. At the hospital she then slips into a coma and is sustained on life support (ostensibly for organ donation) for a week. I think these are all signals to their other human resources.
Some of these rigs don't even have a mechanical linkage between the steering wheel and the tires anymore. I feel like the run away Prius people are inept as they didn't just toss that thing in neutral but anymore that's just an electronic switch as is the emergency brake. "active safety" features can be used maliciously.
Yeah if I ever did get a car like this I would have a mechanic insert a cable that would go through the floorboard that would either be attached to an extra pedal or handle that I could yank which would just absolutely cut battery power to all systems.
I installed one of those in my rig. Right next to the driver's seat. Cuts all power with a flick of the switch. Also have a hidden shutdown override toggle that has to be depressed to start the engine.
Your opinion would change of her if you listen to some of her later interviews when she was free to speak and she began to speak about her days with that famous celebrity and how naive that she herself was.

The playing field is as even as you make it. If you have faith in yourself mountains can be moved.
Marvin the Martian once said: "Be prepared at any time for an initial offensive wet operation. If you survive that wave, make note of who the aggressors are and have means to completely become a ghost. Have a place to go, have cash, a ditch bag with primal survival items if you have to go hiking. One of them should be a clear plastic bag big enough for your body to fit in. If you are evading aerial eyes it is essential for masking your heat signature since plastic blocks IR wavelengths. It should have many many small holes in the bag for both breathing and maintaining ambient surface temperature on the bag itself. Works even better with layered bags. A sufficient supply of Mylar will help under stacked foliage at keeping camp masked. Tune in next week for neutralizing threats." or was it something to do with a p354000 model atomic demolecullarizor or maybe portable metal dis-integrator?>?
The antenna is easy to take out. I've never seen a car limp over being denied a cellular connection. That only happens in BMWs in response to drivetrain distress codes.
Is that a bit heavy handed? Maybe. It's saying you shouldn't drive it too much until you fix it. It also keeps your gf from destroying the motor when it gets out of tune for some reason. I've never had a problem keeping BMWs free of routine stress codes, though certain models are, obviously, prone to periodic maintenance issues.

You can still buy a car with a manual transmission. You can buy a car with unassisted steering. You can't buy a new car without ABS.

Some cars like BMW go into limp mode demanding you take to dealer.
Most cars alarm message of some sort.
If I had a modern car I'd start by taking the antenna out or unplugging.
Sadly midern cars have esims in them and cant remove sim card like with phones.
It would take legislation before car companies would turn it off.

I guess you can drive them off a cliff?
Also throttle and brake by wire are not that common. In high end stuff sure. But not all modern cars by any means.
