Cops are a reflection of your local government

submitted by HeyJames to whatever 10 monthsJul 27, 2023 10:50:48 ago (+24/-2)     (whatever)

Pigs are just a reflection of the government that controls them. I live in a small town and my interactions with the police have been overwhelmingly positive.

They respond very quickly when called and do a good job keeping the riff raff in line.

If your pigs suck then that's a sign of a failed local government. When I lived in a big blue divershitty city my experience was the opposite. Your pigs suck because your city sucks. They simply obey what they're told to do.

The police are the enforcement arm of government. Really they are the government because they're the ones you see regularly and they're the ones that put you in jail. This inevitably presents issues for a political dissident, because there is every reason to believe they will eventually be used against you for political reasons if you are a threat. If you're a good citizen though you may have nothing to worry about. But it is not hard to get caught up in the American 'justice' system even if you think you're one of the 'good guys'. The huge number of people that get arrested in this country is evidence enough of that.

The police are also in some sense useless. They have no obligation to you nor liability if you get hurt or killed. They don't really deter burglaries. They show up after the fact to collect the bodybags. Private citizens need alarm systems, they need guns. And the police, at least at a leadership level, are often anti-gun.

Are you more likely to get attacked by niggers or the pigs? Probably depends who you are and where you are.

So at the very least those of a more conservative mindset I think need to give thought to the fact that the positives of pigs are exaggerated and the negatives not given enough emphasis. More broadly they also need to give thought to the fact that government is a coercive institution regardless of what political label or political system it flies under, and that makes it a pain in the ass at best, a genuine threat to your personal liberty in many many cases.

You can be insightful when not trolling. Too bad you rarely choose to be like this

The police are the standing army the founders warned us about.

If the cops in Japan are on you, you've done something wrong.

I lived in Japan for half a decade, and never had a single bad encounter.

I've worked there for a few months, nice folks. The police were always willing to give directions for idiot younger me badly reading romaji from a guide-book.

It pains me to say this, because I generally do not like or trust cops, but our cops are great.

My town and the surrounding two communities are the last bastion of whiteness in my area. Every now and again, niggers come from the city and pull their nigger shit. The cops and prosecutors make an example of them, sending the message to stay out.

I’ve gotten pulled over for speeding, and once the cop sees I live in town, nothing happens. They find reasons to pull niggers over who drive through my town; It’s glorious.

When all the mask mandates were happening around here, the cops went to the businesses and said they weren’t enforcing anything so the businesses could do as they wish. This may not last forever, but I absolutely love where I live.

So, thieving parasites then. I'm so surprised.

Yes they're just there for a paycheck. They do whatever they need to do to ensure it

[ - ] RMGoetbbels 1 point 10 monthsJul 27, 2023 17:53:33 ago (+1/-0)

Oh they are there for more than a paycheck. You have to be a special kind of dick swallower to be a cop.

Police are the ones that get upset when you put a jogger in the ground. Fuck the police.

Cops in Philly tend to be excellent

Agreed. In my small town, the cops wave to me like Miss America in a parade.
When I ask how it's going they roll their eyes because the demographics has changed a lot in the last few years. I feel sorry for them.
Also, we're on a first name basis.

I've never had a good experience with police, even in red states. It is most likely since I'm taller, smarter, and wealthier than them.

Apparently, for the past eight years, police actually steal more from the general public than the actual criminals.

Yes they really have no choice. Especially City police. Sheriffs have more leeway because they're separately elected and and a county office of their own accord

[ - ] HamsaOfDeath 5 points 10 monthsJul 27, 2023 12:06:34 ago (+6/-1)

They have no choice?

Dangerously close to licking the boot with that statement.

[ - ] HeyJames [op] -1 points 10 monthsJul 27, 2023 13:24:10 ago (+1/-2)

They have "no choice" in that they refuse to sacrifice to comfort of a pension and state benefits to do what's morally correct. They simply do as they're told to maintain comfort as we all do. They're just easier to pick on.

[ - ] HamsaOfDeath 1 point 10 monthsJul 27, 2023 13:58:11 ago (+2/-1)

Oh, you are actually licking the boot.

My bad.

[ - ] HeyJames [op] -2 points 10 monthsJul 27, 2023 14:16:28 ago (+0/-2)

No I'm not licking the boot. Pigs are literally in the same category as an army soldier. They're owned by the ZOG and do ad their told. You're kind of confused.

No, nobody who has read this exchange is confused regarding your status as a bootlicker.
