Did they move the monitoring stations to exclusively reside above blast furnaces?

Cause y'all know they moved them from rural areas, to city parking lots about a decade ago, right?

This is complete horseshit, and OP is probably a fag for posting it.

^ Retard does not understand sarcasm

Do you think all the current hot days are in the current period? What a coincidence!

[ - ] SecretHitler 5 points 9 monthsJul 27, 2023 10:02:17 ago (+5/-0)

I get what you were trying to do but it didn't come off as a sarcastic joke. Sounded more like you're a climate fag.

That's ok, not every post will work out.

[ - ] HamsaOfDeath 2 points 9 monthsJul 27, 2023 09:24:57 ago (+2/-0)

It's my fault your command of the English language is insufficient to carry your meaning?

No. It is not.

[ - ] UncleDoug [op] -2 points 9 monthsJul 27, 2023 09:35:28 ago (+1/-3)

A - I'd like a wake up call

B - Every hot day is now

[this is where your brain checked out]

A - Thats impossible

B - Correct, the climate change hoax is scam to redistribute wealth

[post also sits in v/ClimateChangeSkeptic]

I have no idea what you are trying to communicate.

[ - ] UncleDoug [op] 0 points 9 monthsJul 27, 2023 11:32:22 ago (+1/-1)

^ Account 2 days

You fooled two fags though, congrats on the low-hanging fruit.

[ - ] HamsaOfDeath 0 points 9 monthsJul 27, 2023 11:35:16 ago (+1/-1)

My account age has some sort of bearing on your poor communication skills?

Okay, loser.

"Climate change will be the next big thing we push"

-CNN

[ - ] Wahaha 2 points 9 monthsJul 27, 2023 12:28:49 ago (+2/-0)

The fun thing about this image is that there are lots of retards who will actually believe this.

[ - ] UncleDoug [op] -1 points 9 monthsJul 27, 2023 12:33:57 ago (+0/-1)

Heaps are in this thread.

What kind of mind can only understand concepts literally? Nigs, christcucks?

[ - ] Glowbright 2 points 9 monthsJul 27, 2023 11:01:15 ago (+2/-0)

Except that this claim is based on a PHD research paper from the University of Maine that is not actually based on real temperature readings or measurements. The research paper was about a climate model used to predict and forecast temps. Basically it is a computer algorithm that measures temp in a very small number of locations in Maine and uses that data to guess what the temp is globally. This computer algorithm is so flawed in it's logic that even the NOAA had to make a statement saying "no, not really. That algorithm uses almost no real data and is basically guessing." Actual temp readings from actual weather stations do not support this "Hottest week EVER!" BS claim.

The real travesty is that the University of Maine has sacrificed its scientific and academic integrity to push a agenda. We could be on the brink of an ice age or on the brink of boiling the oceans and we will not really know it anymore because science is dead.

Doubt

[ - ] FreeinTX 1 point 9 monthsJul 27, 2023 10:41:45 ago (+1/-0)

How could you possibly know that?

[ - ] HeyJames 1 point 9 monthsJul 27, 2023 10:45:58 ago (+1/-0)

It's pretty hot in Texas right now

[ - ] FreeinTX 1 point 9 monthsJul 27, 2023 10:51:07 ago (+1/-0)

Its been hotter for longer. This year has been incredibly mild.

[ - ] HeyJames 1 point 9 monthsJul 27, 2023 11:08:17 ago (+1/-0)

It definitely hasn't been "incredibly mild."

I'm in Texas right now. Would say it's a little above average. Not significantly so but definitely not cooler than usual.

[ - ] FreeinTX 1 point 9 monthsJul 27, 2023 11:22:19 ago (+1/-0)

Yes. It has, nigger. We didn't get a single day over 100 in May in Austin. We usually get several days late in the month. Only a few days over 100 in June.
Spring was dry but incredibly cool. Winter was about average. It is hot, now, but no where near record temps. The high humidity is the problem, right now. But it will pass, just like always. It's been a great year, so far.

Tell me what you're at, I'll fight you.

[ - ] HeyJames 1 point 9 monthsJul 27, 2023 13:17:09 ago (+1/-0)

Hah. I left waco not too long ago. Nice place like it much better than Austin. Lots of good hard working folk around and i like the rolling hills and farms. It got up to like 105 yesterday. I remember it only being high 90s around waco in the past during July.

[ - ] Barfcock19 1 point 9 monthsJul 27, 2023 10:10:34 ago (+1/-0)

Like to know how they know how hot it was over a century ago.

[ - ] UncleDoug [op] -1 points 9 monthsJul 27, 2023 10:22:04 ago (+0/-1)

Ice cores, geological evidence through geomorphic and sedimentary analysis, topographical evidence, mapping felled tree rings.

You know the thermometer is not the only way to test for temperature?

Medieval Warm period anyone?

[ - ] FreeinTX 1 point 9 monthsJul 27, 2023 10:46:09 ago (+1/-0)*

Ice cores cannot possibly tell you how hot something was 10 miles away, on the same day, let alone thousands of years ago.

And geomorphic and sedimentary analysis can't possibly be accurate within anything less than 10-20 degrees. Tree rings would only show massive differences in climate over a season.

Quit making shit up.

You tell me what you think the margin of error is for determining average global temperature on any given day in the medieval period.

[ - ] UncleDoug [op] -1 points 9 monthsJul 27, 2023 11:04:41 ago (+0/-1)

Retards hurt themselves in their confusion.

Are you pro climate change now?

[ - ] FreeinTX 2 points 9 monthsJul 27, 2023 11:10:12 ago (+2/-0)*

There is no evidence that the earth is warming. None. Zero. Zilch. Let alone as a result of increased man made CO2 output.

They want you to believe that they could tell, within a tenth of a degree, what the average global temperature was in 1860. This is ridiculous horseshit that anyone with a functioning brain can figure out is not possible, but people are so fucking stupid that can't figure it out for themselves and unless a "climate expert" says so, they won't even try to figure it out for themselves.

[ - ] UncleDoug [op] 0 points 9 monthsJul 27, 2023 11:26:46 ago (+1/-1)

This post is in climate change skeptic ffs.

What do you think the meme is trying to tell you? Do you read and respond to everything at face value?

All of the hot days are in current year TM

The correct response should be, that's BS.

I'm an 8 minute walk from the California beach. Our 5 to 10 days of 70F and above in January have gradually shrunk over the decades to zero in the past couple years.
