I'm not a cat guy. At least not an indoor cat guy. I did it once. A girlfriend in college wanted a cat. Okay.

I hate this panic mode thing, and it's real. The cat in question became entangled in a plastic grocery bag it was playing with. Somehow, one of the handles snared it around the throat and tightened enough to frighten the cat.

Chaos. Just absolute fucking chaos. Cat screaming. Flailing. Sprinting and jumping. Knocking shit over left and right. My girlfriend freaking out: "Do something!"

I chased it around like a hairy pinball bouncing off everything, screaming.

The screaming.

We did split. I left her in this case, and it wasn't because of the cat. We actually got rid of the cat about a year before we split up.
