I used to get a lot, but unsubscribing seems to have worked.

There were a bunch every day addressed to my email name. The spam folder didn't work, so I tried the unsub thing. After a couple weeks, they stopped coming. Surprised that it worked, actually. Now it's just a few each day from people/companies/orgs I've had contact with but don't care enough to unsub.

The point of email spam is to get even 1/10th of 1% to bite, because that's profitable enough.

It has been bots since the beginning.

You are reminding me that it’s about time to start a new email account. Bullshit spam emails are getting too much. I get around 15 emails a day that I never open.
