So i told her that sometimes just because something seems palatable doesn’t mean it is remotely “good” and sometimes the most difficult thing to hear is leading you on a better path. Yes. Quite often lyrical pieces have a depth of spiritual meaning in them. Now-a-days however, there seems to have been an explosion in these much more 'revealing' songs, being given a veneer of fame and glamour, it's completely glossed over by most, and the 'artists' are then given permission to be... much more explicit.
