Wife points out there's water in an area of the floor. Fuck. AC drain line clogged and it's overflowing. This happened before at our prior house, except it was leaking down from the attic that time. Since then I try to remember to occassionally pour bleach down the drain line to help keep it clear. Well, I forgot to do that the past year or more.
Gotta do the same for any water filter systems that include a tank - 100mL of bleach into tank line after its emptied, allow it to fill up with water, and flush it out a couple times.
Gets rid of any bacteria or algae growing so it doesn’t build up later to something nasty or harmful.
Same goes for the drain hose, it any - could block up after a while.
