Plato wasn't a stoic and that shit about teachers fuckin their students is bullshit. People want you to believe that every dude in ancient Greece was a pedophile faggot, and that's simply not fuckin true.

Plato influenced Stoicism which is why the title is called Plato and the stoics.

Doesn't matter. @PeckerwoodPerry is correct about the kikes making faggots about our heritage. That is the ultimate important point here.

What school did Plato not influence?

The word pedophile comes from Greece and directly relates to this topic. It's rooted in the historical precedence of adult men having sexual relations with their younger male apprentices. This is well documented. Plato even supported this in the younger years of his life but would later change his mind and advocate vehemently against it.

The original root word is "pederasty"

"Platonic" in this context is an anapodoton of "Platonic love". None of the commentary in the picture is correct.

Thank you. And to the last cunt who said Plato isn't right about anything, well, he can fuck right off. Platonism is alive and well, and that person is an uneducated faggot.

Where exactly does one find the original manuscripts of all these historical accounts?

Seeing as the winners write history and the jews have been winning for a long time now...

It's based on 16th ce satirization of Plato's work referred to as Neo-platonism during the revival period.

Many of Plato's writings feature Socrates as a character and are presented as dialectics, giving rise to the notion of the Socratic method of inquiry. Plato established a philosophy based around the notion of ideal forms, stating that all ideas exist in a pure form apart from the material world.

Socrates and Plato had a similar teacher/student relationship, they both believed relationships should only be heterosexual and accompany a spirituality and admiration for one another/love.

The trend toward Platonic influence was sent up in The New Inn, a 1631 satire by dramatist Ben Jonson that marks the first use of the "spiritual rather than physical love" sense documented in the OED.

Gradually modern usage of the word is closer to meaning friendship rather than a spiritual connection sans intercourse

So albeit Plato didn't say don't be a paedo, it's still anecdotally humorous based on an interpretation of Plato's Symposium and dialectics.

Dudebro philosophy, found on reddit et al, is radically anti-logical. Not "illogical", although it is, but I mean anti-logical in that it is hostile to logic. They cannot coexist.

These "people" (bots?) use respected White philosophers to legitimize bogus classical culture "what if scenarios":

Plato returns from the dead

resurrecting Diogenes

Basically, in ancient Greece

None of OP's posted thread is logic, or truth; it is dudebro philosophy. It is vaguely philosophical and vaguely historical, a fabricated scenario being collectively pushed by the several dudebro philosophers as legitimate. It is a "because I studied Plato in college" word salad of legitimate sounding terms and phrases that caters to intellectually lazy adult midwits. It is the result of a carefully crafted form of malignant mind control practiced by the academics on our young people. It is a deliberate attack on White IQ!

History, when applied with the same logical rigor as natural sciences, can produce a decent approximation of the past. You must provide many primary sources or very trustworthy secondary sources because humans lie. It's just in our nature. So, when studying the past, you always have to take this into account. Even then, you can never have the full picture of historical events. But dudebros don't care, they just want to sound smart and have an illusion of intellectual authority.

With our institutions controlled by marxist postmodernists who cannot define truth, and, in fact, despise it, you only get deceptions, illusions, and lies. They're not interested in the truth, so there is no reason to engage in discussions other than to mock and shame them, like their beloved Diogenes would do.

have a sense of humor and don't be a paedo

Yes, both of these things are good. Too bad reddit fails to follow either point of your advice.
