The purpose of the EU has changed over the years.

It began as a way to ensure peace in Europe through transparency, then as a way to leverage European economic activity and promote trade between European nations. Then collective defence....

Then it kind of went to shit as ((they)) realised it was a useful tool to destroy Europe.

It's ironic that the very institution designed to protect European culture - has become the medium used to implement it's destruction.

There is hope for it. Once the EU snaps back to its right wing ideals - it could easily be used as the weapon to kick ((them)) out of power. In fact it is the only thing that has that ability.

Very tricksy because one thinks of it at its most giddy outset as Europe defining itself in opposition to the rest of the world.
