It's an urban hellscape anyway. Noisy, crowded, expensive. Fuck that.

There are some nice areas outside the city proper, but still expensive because you're within the boundaries of Tokyo. Better to just go across the line into Chiba, Ibaraki, Saitama, Yamanashi, or Kanagawa. You'll still have easy access to Tokyo, but likely pay a LOT less for a place to live.
