Maybe your idea of β€œhot” is keeping you struggling and attracting disgusting retards.

[ - ] PhantomXLII 0 points 1.8 yearsJul 23, 2023 12:16:20 ago (+1/-1)

No, I don't struggle or attract at all man. Haven't for about... Four years now I think. Almost five. Besides, my idea of "hot" doesn't really matter anyway. Most women have broken that whole "don't be an adulterous/promiscuous bitch" rule God himself set down so... Yeah.

It's really a "great filter" of sorts. Pair that with living in a small town and no, shit ain't happening. No "options".

On the bright side, I don't know any different than being a single fucker so I can't feel too bad about it. Can't miss what you never had and all that.

Yeah if you can go live on an uninhabited island or continent, sure. Otherwise you have to eliminate everyone then make your own reality.

While I believe this to some extent, your metaphysical/spiritual energy is also competing with everyone else's, and the kikes program people to tap their spiritual energy (for example, getting you to kneel to the king of the jews, which causes you to energize jewish control schemes). But don't let that stop you from putting yours to the best possible use. Look into meditation practices and chi/vril/reiki/prana manipulation techniques and see how far you can go with it.

[ - ] ImplicationOverReason 3 points 1.8 yearsJul 23, 2023 13:05:03 ago (+4/-1)

you create your reality with your outlook

Others suggest creationism (implies out of nothing) as the inversion of perceivable transmutation (implies out of; within and in response to everything). In other words...ones consent to suggested creationism implies one looking out at perceivable reality through the lens of suggested fiction.

reasonable

If one ignores perceivable (need) for suggested (want); then one shapes a conflict of reason (want vs not want)...the few utilize suggestion to divide the many against one another through reasoning.

travel makes you glow

Being implies resistance (life) within velocity (inception towards death). If society (suggested social-ism) represents a controlled environment of order followers; then one stepping into it from outside will stand out as a force of resistance...remaining within society diminishes ones resistance, hence tempting others to keep following orders.

It never has to end.

Others suggest progressivism (towards outcomes) to distract one from the need to resist (life) perceivable origin (inception towards death). Others also suggest nihilism (never; no; not; nothing) to distract one from perceivable everything.

How can we use this to make clown world go back to normal?

Choose to resist perceivable natural order instead of following suggested orders like "norms".

Sleight of hand: everyone consenting to suggested "norm" becomes repetitive background-noise... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VXED2AVlbR0

As for clown-world...comedy (life) can only exists within drama (inception towards death).

It's the Law of Attraction. I don't believe in the metaphysical aspects at all, but do believe positive outlooks coupled with strong willpower help with achievement.

Even then, some people just have bad luck on a cosmic scale.

I'll question your premise that it is entirely physical.

If the glow exists, and it is also true that it goes away after three days, then you should be able to give a physical account of what changed in your body that resulted in loss of the glow.

Now, I could ask about the change from glow to no-glow, but that seems like a return to your regular state of being. So the more interesting question to ask is what about travelling changes you physically to produce the glow?

I think you'll find it hard to avoid talking about the mind/consciousness in this case, and if so, it's going to undermine your case for this being purely physical. Is it really that your body has undergone changes from the flight (or whatever), or is it that your mind has been altered in anticipation of the vacation and is having a kind of 'peak' experience in a 'new land'?

[ - ] 2017Fallout 8 points 1.8 yearsJul 23, 2023 11:12:51 ago (+8/-0)

Maybe it's because you are in a alien environment and so your brain turns all your perceptionual faculties up. Sort of like a mild magic mushroom trip: colours are accentuated and people and everyday objects are just a bit odd, making you really pay attention to the otherwise mundane. Those then subjected to your interested gaze feel special and actually 'seen' and so respond positively to you. After three days you have habituated and your gaze becomes an everyday glance. It would make sense in terms of survival instincts - the threat of the unknown causing heightened perception - not unlike what happens after prolonged fasting.

[ - ] CHIRO 5 points 1.8 yearsJul 23, 2023 11:35:20 ago (+5/-0)

I think that's right. A person's 'energy' is something that's hard to talk about; words don't do it justice, but we all know what is meant by it. One person can change a room, right. People love to feel interesting and important, not just in the sense of titles and status, but in the sense of another human being authentically engaging with them.

That's great you brought up fasting. I was going to mention this. That state of heightened senses - esp. visual acuity and overall mental sharpness - goes up pretty dramatically when you are fasting. It's time to hunt, or so your body thinks. The 'hunt' you are on with vacation is not totally separate from that, you're just hunting a different substance. So strange to think that the faculties we have for threat detection (pertaining to bad stuff) are the same by which we experience the best things in life.

[ - ] 2017Fallout 2 points 1.8 yearsJul 24, 2023 10:31:09 ago (+2/-0)

I am immediately suspicious when someone is very intense with me. It's like I feel I am being played.

I agree that you are never more present than when threatened - I read a book called The Kill Zone about cops when they kill in the line of duty. Interesting stuff and lots of perceptual changes. Also when people fall. Really facinating reading.

I think the glow is the 'golly gee I'm on vacation!' facial expressions and mannerisms we all adopt to varying degrees. You have no deadlines, work, commute, just vacation in a new place.

I would think being exposed to the bulk of the brainwashed sheeple in California for 3 days would wipe the glow from anyone that is not woke.

[ - ] Sector7 4 points 1.8 yearsJul 23, 2023 11:24:53 ago (+4/-0)

You probably do have to interact with them if you're just visiting. Not really the case when you live here. I mean, other than "make that a large to go, please" and such. It's true though, that the brainwashing here is different than in conservative places.

To wipe the glow off I'd have to spend less time on this website. Visiting California is a pretty positive experience provided you stay within sight of the ocean.

I can probably add more by saying it anyway: there is no place with more variation than California. People that reduce it to fags, liberals, homelessness, illegals, etc., are dealing with issues that mostly have to do with living there. As a tourist you have great weather, the beach, beautiful women. And near the coast it isn't necessarily always particularly liberal.

The Pacific Ocean is too cold though. Kinda dirty too.

Hey man, all I did was respond to a comment in this thread touching on something I know something about. Next thing I know you're hurling contrived insults at me for no reason.

So yeah, obvious asshole is obvious. Not that it makes you unique here. Most of this bunch come off like socially ill adjusted misanthropes even on a good day. But your stuff seems especially out of your way if you will. You just bend over backward. Most jerks just act like asshats in the normal course of things. You're a fucking asshole. Embrace that.

It's the furthest left you can go in both senses. At least on this part of the coast.

Santa Monica is very liberal. They elected Tom Hayden even before Mexicanization. Also listed second though on one of those lists of beautiful women I posted upthread.

From your vantage point it probably does seem very liberal. Further north in Arcata they were smoking pot before it was cool. I have to say though that walking around the Presidio last year I didn't feel as if the locals were particularly countercultural. The women dressed almost conservatively, even if they were attractive.

But yeah, I'm thinking further south. Pretty sure all of coastal Orange County went Trump both times. Then there are places like La Jolla further south. The women are beautiful. The politics bearable. I have some misgivings about the wealthy as a class though.

Your comment makes me think of South Park episode where they are smelling their own farts.

But hey, I’ve never been there. The media has reduced Chicago to nothing more than gang violence but they fail to mention most of this is limited to the south side.

Chicagoland is a great place full of great food, beautiful suburbs, and hispanics.

[ - ] Joe_McCarthy -2 points 1.8 yearsJul 23, 2023 20:54:23 ago (+0/-2)

I don't think it's particularly necessary to defend myself - if for no other reason than I'm much more polite interpersonally than most of my antagonists. Then again I don't get paid to try and drive people off through demoralizing them with various artifices like wasting time or being blatantly insulting.

But yeah, Chicago too gets a bad rap. Like a tale of two cities. I know the murder rate is like 100 times higher in the south than the north. The west isn't great either though. But all things considered it is one of the most beautiful cities in America in my opinion.

Feds follow me around. I deal with plenty of it offline. By now I'm also used to it. They even extend to my everyday contacts. Here though it is absolutely pervasive. This place primarily serves to deceive, misdirect, contain, and demoralize at this point. Though the me factor throws a huge wrench at that...

It’s why I love traveling - your curiosity and energy is piqued and the people around you notice it as well when you are in a β€œnew” place. You can be in the town you grew up in, as long as the place you stayed in last night was different or out of your normal routine.

Changing the scenery around you motivates and inspires you. Now, if you want to apply that to clown world, try walking around with a shirt that says β€œJESUS WAS RIGHT ABOUT THE JEWS” - even if you don’t believe in Jesus. The attention and feelings you will command will definitely be extraordinary.

You're right. Sumer's response was good. There's a weird and fascinating interaction between novelty, expectation, experience/competence, and the unknown. I'm not Peterson's biggest fan, but he and his other pyschologist comrade, J. Vervaeke, have both discussed the concept of flow states. Something special happens when you introduce the right level of novelty to a person, when their experience and competence permit their encounter with the unknown to generally be promising and beneficent. It's an encounter with 'God' in which God is giving and 'favors you'. Contast that with an encounter with God in which God is chaotic and wrathful.

It's something like the matching between competence and confidence and the level of novelty. Imagine Sumer 'traveled' by being kidnapped, blindfolded, and dropped all alone in a strange part of the world with nothing but empty pockets and the shirt on his back. In one sense, Sumer still 'traveled' didn't he? But somehow I doubt if he would have a glow in this situation.

Too little stimulation/challenge leaves you stifled. Too much stimulation/challenge overwhelms you. Finding the 'glow' has something to do with dropping yourself into newness that is perfectly matched with your ability to encounter the unknown in it with the expectation of promise/reward, not harm. Anyway, I'm ranting like usual. I think having a generally 'good' life involves finding the right balance of the unknown, where you're challenged at just the right level to push you a bit out of your comfort zone, into curiosity and learning, but not so much that you lose the thread. For the most part, vacations are planned to do exactly this - if they're good vacations. Maybe some people just need the new locale and can do everything normal that you'd find in a resort or whatever. Others will take vacations to go and kayak down a fast-moving river for the first time. Probably, the second vacation is going to be the more enriching one.

Lots of people that retired and bought an RV - still own properties and getting money from those investments, while driving an hour or so to a slightly different location and enjoying new surroundings every day.

Others are doing β€œvan life” and live like a constant camping trip. Most people think they couldn’t handle it, but you actually get better sleep and more energy and more quality of life living like a homeless drifter; people should be jealous of the simpler life, but instead they want more garbage for a never satiated addiction of having more.
