Many of us on Voat know that cancer is a joke. Completely preventable and rooted in diet. The industry only serves to perform expensive tests and procedures to alleviate symptoms. If everyone started eating right, a multi-billion-dollar industry would vanish within a few years.
While in part you are correct about diet and lifestyle, there are plenty of cancers that are absolutely genetic. I have a genetic predisposition called MEN type 2 which affects the endocrine system. Already had thyroids removed when I was young because of a growth. Runs in my dads side of the family. Thankfully, I have the less aggressive type that is fairly slow growing and benign.
it is no joke at all.
If treating cancer is bad for the climate, maybe we should only treat white US CITIZENS here and let the others get treated in their home country’s less polluting health care systems…
I half agree with your argument for genetics. To explain: Inflammation can manifest in many different ways. Some people develop depression. Others cancer. I happen to develop body pain and high blood pressure through prolonged inflammation. My parents suffered the same so I would assume it is genetic.
Here is where I want to sell younon an idea. My vegan friend (regarding another post I made) held onto his depression for dear life. The very thought of me claiming he could do something about it set him off. He then went off about his mother struggling a lifetime of depression and that it is genetic. So sure, be the victim. Convince yourself that nothing can be done to help yourself, 35 hear old vegan kid. But I still told him about the elimination diet. He ignored it entirely! Because his depression is his identity. This fool could not get over himself.
With respect, I implore you to look into an elimination diet. I believe you are genetically predisposed to develop cancer because thatbis how onflammation manifests for you and your bloodline. My formal friend and his mother will continue a lifetime of depression because they are convinced there is no cure - when the sad truth is they could likely cure it in a few short weeks if an elimination diet. But no, this kid will probably off himself and go non-binary in the coming years. Never had a father to coach him so he’s unwilling to heed advice unless spewed from the mainstream media. He needs the comfort if doing what everyone else is doing.
Why not take a chance? Eat beef everyday, salt to taste, and get sunlight. You could spend that time barbecuing!
This is the inevitable result in a world where an endless supply of humanoids are streaming across the border to the tune of thousands per day. Your value to society is marginalized to the point where your survival depends on the treatment costing less than training your replacement. Supply and demand is a real bitch.
