If you need a generator: better buy it now before the ban.

Natural News goes further. Says that the ban is planned so that they can better control the population, and a grid down false flag operation is being planned by the .GOV to be blamed on "right wing extremists".

I checked out the US Consumer Product Safety Commission Twitter and come across this creepy shit...

who isn't going to need a generator?

A cool trick people may not be aware off.

Get a true sine wave Gen.
Mines 4kw.
Got a 15amp extension lead.(230v)

Get an electrician to install a cutover / changeover switch with a matching female socket

Now when my power goes out. Rural so fairly often.

I turn the cutover switch from mains to generator.

Push the generators autostart button.

Boom powers the whole house.

Though of course your needs might be much higher than mine.

I have two weeks of 24/7 supply of gas but I only need 10 hours a day

Do you have a decent UPS for electronics?

Not a house wired one no.

My next plan is a hybrid solar controller. That will be my up essentially.

Thanks for posting this. I've been meaning to add a duel fuel generator for a while now, and this just cinched it.

Smart move on allowing for diesel.

Never goes off so storage is so much better.

Dual fuel means gas/propane, diesel engines just don't work the same way.

I have one, a 7500W. A 30lbs of propane lasts at least 12hrs with a decent load on it, I've used it to power outdoor sound systems. Not varnishing up or destroying the carb with ethanol... makes for a vert reliable power source. My next step is getting a 500gal propane tank at home for heating/cooking & running a line for the genset.

Nice. Appreciate the polite correction.

A good ploy is biogas
As you can produce your own

I've looked into that as well! It's my belief we're all going to have to start thinking outside the box for our power generation needs from here on out.

Propane is far superior for gen longevity over gas. Never goes bad, doesn't clog carbs. I have a dual fuel that i would never put gas in. Less electric output on propane but being able to consistently start your gen is nice.

I haven't noticed a big difference on the output, it is a bit more noisy though imo.

I run a mixture of red diesel/kerosene in my heaters as a backup in the winter. Works pretty good, and is much cheaper than straight kerosene. I also have an electric generator hard wired to the house that runs off natural gas, and kicks on when the power goes off. Going to pick up a duel fuel Genny for backup 2 backup, now that they've made it clear they're going to be targeting them.

Get a 10kw generator head from harbor freight for $250. Attach it to a dynomometer platform. Drive vehicle onto dyno, set cruise control for correct speed/hz, run your house. Connect multiple generator heads and run your whole neighborhood.

Granted; a dynomometer is not a common item, but you can improvise one by coupling a long pipe to a rear differential or some other gear to achieve the required 3600RPM.
