The German word for Saline ist Kochsalzlösung, which literally means cooking salt solution. Perhaps that's why they translated it as salt water.

But anyone with half a brain would know what was meant when used in a medical context. The rest of the headline being filled with emotional wording means they knew exactly what they were doing. "Anti-vaxxer" for not wanting to subject elderly patients to a medical experiment. "Walks FREE", written to spark indignation as if they let a serial killer off the hook.

There was this report about the destruction of the Nordstream pipeline. At some point it stated something like "they plant shaped c4 charges around the pipeline". Our big propaganda channels translated this as "used explosives with a shape imitating the marine vegetation" and fact checked as false, because several demolition experts assured them that the are no explosives that look like plants. Yes, this is the clownworld we are living in...
