"cult" politics, and how we win.

submitted by prototype to whatever 1.8 yearsJul 18, 2023 15:31:21 ago (+7/-1)     (whatever)

To those saying "we'll never win" because too many people are asleep at the wheel, let me explain something:

You gotta recruit people where they're at, not push them away because they don't meet you where you're at (ideologically, world-view, etc).

People can't (readily) be made to believe most opinions, but they can be brought to a low-boil panic into doing what you want them to do by explaining to them how whatever it is they care about is going to be harmed by outcomes. Your job is to highlight those outcomes and in what way they'll lose out if they don't join and act.

It's not about what you care about, or why. It's about what they care about, enough to do something about it.
Whatever it is, create for them the perfect picture of fear, or utopia, in their mind, and they'll do whatever needs to be done. It comes down to numbers when the enemy themselves relies on numbers.

But for starters it is necessary to create a hardened core of zealots, fanatically devoted, that they are willing to give up everything to discipline themselves almost militantly into an effective political, social, and religious force that resists infiltration, understands counter-intelligence, follows orders to a T especially in regards to protocols, and studies and implements the methodology, tactics, and strategies of mass-politics the way generals study famous battles.

What you want to build is a sort of 'cult' almost. And unless you are shameless about this, you will not win against people and a regime far worse than us.

You can worry about optics, naming the enemy, ordinary national politics, controlling both sides of the aisle, bottom-up vs top-down strategies, messaging, all of that later, but first you start with an indefatigable unified core that knows how to operate as one unit. Without that, none of the other strategies work and they all fall to outside pressure, artificial infighting, division tactics.

First start with groups, not movements, not organizations. Networks, hierarchies, all that jazz don't get built without groups that are sufficiently thorough that splitting them, capturing them, infiltrating them, turning them, is like splitting the atom.

You start with moderate men. Quiet men. Humble men. Who are dedicated like fanatics, but who don't mouth-off like fanatics. Who understand what the job is, and what it will take, and more importantly, what is at stake. You eschew the crazies, and you recruit neither those who have nothing to lose nor those who have everything to lose, but those who have lost what is precious and still have more to lose, because the pain forces them to understand the reality and what remains makes them understand the stakes.

Ewwww. Sure, capturing the minds of the mentally weak and unfit away from the enemy is a winning strategy, but at the end of the day you're left with the parasitic weak and unfit.

If you do have low standards, this is your strategy with high chances of succeeding in gaining power, and becoming Kang of the retards. prototype is exactly correct about this strategy.

If you go that far, you might as well get trained in manipulating their mental processes into proper cult members, since you already know they're follower types. Bleah, the thought of followers is making my stomach churn after what was a pretty nice breakfast.

Break it up into two tiers. The inner tier is made up of good quality people that you intend to make a civilization with. the outer tier is made up of the crappy people that are willing to work with you so they don't die from the problems we all face.

This is what prototype meant by a hardened core of zealots.

Ever buy a name brand product when there were other options? That's manipulation of the weak.
