The issue is less to do with hardware and more to do with software. At the end of the day, hardware is just chunks of plastic, copper and silicon. Software is what's required for it to actually run. But we're in the era of diversity hires and lazy programmers. As well as easily accessible and cheap storage space. This results in what's called software bloat. Which is basically when the software has so much pointless shit running in the background all the time to do simple tasks. Rather than intelligently designing code to do things efficiently which saves space and hardware speed, they can afford bloat.

Imagine you want to tell someone "The Jews aren't our friends" but instead of saying that you say "Our group of friends does not consist of a subset of the Abrahamic religions that is primarily relegated to the region bordering the South Eastern Mediterranean sea." then wait for the person to decipher what it means. Then multiply that kind of garbage language 500x - that's basically what your software is doing.

WHAT are you supposed to do now? I don't understand setting Optimized in one panel vs High Power in another panel. There's only one setting in my Windows.
