Picking the wrong moment for an argument

As she walks to the driver's side door and opens it, a tiger suddenly attacks her from behind and drags her off.

The male driver of the sedan immediately chases after them and then a female passenger also exits the vehicle to join the rescue attempt.

Meanwhile, a jeep belonging to the park speeds towards the woman to try to save her.

Unfortunately, the second woman was killed by another tiger.

It's also a kind of IQ test. That is what a failing grade looks like. I wish there were more pass/fail tests of this kind.

Kin selection as a white survival strategy in the face of necessity is one thing (war, starvation, etc.)

Sacrificing your mother to tigers because you were too stupid to remain safely inside the closed vehicle while in tiger country is just an indicator of a stupid genetic line that will find a way to end itself eventually anyway.

In the end, mom's sacrifice will have saved nothing. Daughter stupid enough to get out of a closed vehicle in tiger country (and I'll bet money that there were multiple warning signs telling people to stay in their cars) will just find another stupid way to end herself, and next time mom won't be there.

She will probably live to birth one or two more kids. This is literally how kin selection works. You cant pick and choose the scenarios in which this sort of sacrifice is a good save or a bad one. Evolution doesnt care.

Sure. And I'm certain that someone stupid enough to get out of a safe closed car while in a loose tiger environment, only to be saved by the actions and sacrifice of someone other than themselves will go on to live a ripe old age, while performing wonders and miracles along the way.

See, the problem with the purely hypothetical sword is that it cuts just as sharply both ways.

See, I would argue that, based solely on her observed, demonstrated behavior, she could "probably" just as easily be found dead soon of starvation, before giving birth to any children at all, because she forgot which hole in her head she was supposed to put food into.
