They were brought up with a certain view of government. The post-war US was really something, wasn't it. Just consider the cultural milieu they developed in. Put their shoes on for a moment, and just imagine. Your nation's government had just saved the fucking world. It had developed the 'God weapon'. There was an economic boom. Broad optimism. The new vista of mass media was basically 'coming up' as you were, introducing you to all kinds of state propaganda, betwixt new sci-fi films propping up human technological supremacy and implicitly foretelling of impending human dominance over nature.

You get to graduate high school and get a job with benefits and a pension, on top of other entitlement programs that were never sustainable, the legacy of which is still a burden on society today. All of this, because we implanted thousands of Jewish intellectuals into the education system virtually overnight, under the GI Bill. They began a regime of promoting absolute individualism. Gone were the days of the 'cycle of life' in which people viewed things in circular fashion, i.e. parents take care of kids, kids grow up, parents decline, kids take care of parents. Nope, what with all of these pensions and entitlements, we entered the days of the 'individual retirement'. Learn to harness the power of interest! Play the markets! Individual investors are seeing millions.

Send your kids to college, don't teach them your trade. Let them become moveable labor, and watch them move from one side of the country to the other to work for the new corporation. They'll visit on Thanksgiving. You won't see grandkids until you're 70. But you'll have an RV. And your pension plan will kick in along with your S.S. - not to mention, you'll have had your house paid off by the time you were 30 anyway - so $3k a month is doing you just fine. The kids will come by now and again and ask about the life insurance policy. Jack has been meaning to help you replace the water softener for months, but Corpo X is a 'hard row to hoe'. Call a contractor.

Isolation from family. Insane levels of change. Entitlement programs. The nuclear threat.

And if you listen to these 70-going-on-80-somethings today, all of their conversations with peers sound the same. They all reflect this view of government. They vote on the basis of how high their S.S. checks will be. They absolutely believe they are entitled to God's gifts. If the checks go down by $10, they'll indignantly encourage one another to 'get on the horn' and make a fuss. They're the Best generation, and everything exists for their comfort and convenience. Why? Because the government is family now, and when the Government is God, there's no good reason why everything shouldn't be that way. You've been told your generation made America great your entire lives. You deserve it. And these young lazy people today just haven't ever had a swift kick in the ass, so they can learn to pull themselves up by the bootstraps like you did. You fucked around until you were 28, without being serious about life, even though you could afford a house anyway. You waltzed between jobs with ease. Oh, you were fired for drinking on the job? You literally walked to a different company the same day and got hired, and you threw your empty beer can in the new boss's garbage as you both laughed.

You are American greatness, now living in the time of life's harvest. You reap what federally subsidized promises sowed, along with what everyone in today's generation is sowing too. And there's still room to complain. You can barely gas up your RV with the rising cost of golfing.

The Boomer mind is, by and large, government property. Bought and paid for. To undermine this myth, in the mind of the Boomer, is no less than the equivalent of introducing mass psychosis. Hence, when the government tells you to get a shot and wear a mask, the Boomer enforced the mandates religiously. If the government had said these people needed to sacrifice Fido to bring about the end of the pandemic, a white-haired man and wife could have been seen going through the silverware drawer for a knife.

They got everything they wanted. They are spoiled.

While it may not seem like a lot to them it's a whole hell of a lot more than later (and previous) generations. The whole bootstraps thing might have a little truth to it, but the bootstraps were harder for later generations and they don't care. They've been too spoiled to think of anyone but themselves.

I'm Gen X and I'm so sick and tired of boomers controlling the zeitgeist. You still hear their goddamn music fucking everywhere. They still talk in awe about boomer bands like music stopped at 1970. They are fucking elderly and it's still fucking boomer music everywhere.

My new favorite is a book that teaches boomers how to die with zero dollars in their bank account.

From 1945-1970, the average worker's pay nearly doubled. This is when the boomers were kids and young adults.

Then we got our first kike fed chair simce the great depression and a kike talked Nixon into ending Bretton Woods. Bretton Woods tied the dollar's value to the price of gold, limiting the fed's ability to impose the cost of inflation on America's workers. Once the full effect of inflation hit, worker pay stagnated.

A generation that saw an incredible increase in wealth during their childhood and young adulthood suddenly stopped seeing it. They became insecure and greedy, trying desperately to recapture the feeling of prosperity and stability from their younger years.

Meanwhile, the younger generations that never got real raises became increasingly jaded and cynical.

Theyre no more greedy than any other generation of whites. Stop trying to attack sub groups of whites.

I have seen the entitlement of the boomer generation. It's funny they're so proud of their parents for serving in the war and use that as their source of patriotism and entitlement. Yet when their own generation fought in Vietnam they lined up at the airport to yell and spit at them. This probably defines their self-serving attitude to a tee.

Boomers love cheap labor. They don't value anyone's time or livelihood. As soon as they took over management in the 1980s, they lobbied for laws that enabled jobs being sent overseas and more immigrants being brought in. Boomers pretend to be conservative yet still hire illegal spics to cut their grass and do work on the home. Under Boomers being in political power, the browning of America occurred. We saw them line up and March with niggers in the 70s as well
