Biden ran on stopping the death penalty. Remember back when Merrick Garland, himself jewish, offered a moratorium and said that the federal government would not be instituting the death penalty in any cases?
Oy Vey Goy! If someone shoots up a goy school killing many White children it is nothing, like poking a finger in the eye. But if someone shoots up a synagogue! Death Penalty!
There's a lot of baffling, stupid shit in the talmud, but that finger in the eye verse confused me. Back in antiquity, was poking someone in the eye a mild offense? I'd kill someone for intentionally doing it to me.
Not necessarily. Eligibility does not mean that it is automatically imposed. There are two phases for capital punishment. The first is a finding that sufficient facts exist to bring a capital case. That is to say, there must have been some aggravating factor to the crime (these factors vary by state) in order to present the question of the death sentence to the jury.
After the trial, the jury will return two separate verdicts. One is as to the guilt to the offense generally. If they return a unanimous verdict of guilty, then they will also return a verdict for whether the defendant should be sentenced to death (not always unanimous, depends on the state).

Look at the "victims".
It's not like they're going to be having anymore kids, and probably weren't going to live much longer anyway. What a waste.
