I seem to remember a pajeet/paki version. A girl on a swing - on the edge of a cliff - boyfriend or friends pushing her. Higher and higher, and off she goes, flying off into the ether.

Story time: Years ago there was one of these set up at a travelling exhibition. It was NASA equipment and had actually been used to train astronauts so a lot better designed and made than the one in the video. I was in my early 30s but still thought I was capable of handling anything life threw at me. I know for a fact that when I was a kid I could have sat in that thing all day while someone tired himself out spinning it. But I was no longer a kid.

Within a couple spins I realized I'd made a terrible mistake but no amount of my screaming "STOP I"M GOING TO BE SICK" has any effect on the guy doing the spinning. I suspect he ignored me on purpose.

It was fucking terrible. And I learned on that day that the invincibility of youth has a hard Best Before date.

Good thing to put on a ledge.
