Mental illnesses and disorders aren't real. They are just human behaviors that have been unnecessarily pathologized by society.

submitted by AntiPostmodernist to whatever 1.9 yearsJul 9, 2023 12:58:34 ago (+2/-6)     (whatever)

They are defined as a pattern of thought or behavior that negatively impacts the patient's ability to function within their society.

It is little more than a mismatch between the conduct of the patient and the social-cultural consensus of their day, a failure to conform to the ideas of what is widely considered acceptable behavior for the time.

A physical injury, or illness isn't defined by its juxtaposition against the larger society in which the patient lives, be it a broken leg or a common flu, we need only consider the patient when diagnosing them, only mental afflictions get this ridiculous standard of diagnosis.

Both the left and right have uses the terms wrong, assuming it was defined in some more objective empirical measure like physical ailments or diseases are.

Homosexuality shouldn't have been removed from the dsm when it was, because in that time it fit rhe definition of a pattern of thoughts and behaviors that impaired the patient's ability to function in their society.

It shouldn't have mattered that this difficulty was being largely attributed to the prejudice against such behaviors that were widely held by the society of the time.

And the right is wrong when they claim that transgenderism is a mental illness, because now one of the biggest reasons for becoming a tranny is that society worships you for doing so.

Societal standards have changed, and it is they which define what we could consider to be a mental sickness or not.

What we consider to he a crazy hobo today was once considered a wise philospher in ancient Greek society.

What a crazy thing to say.

[ - ] ImplicationOverReason 0 points 1.9 yearsJul 9, 2023 14:27:15 ago (+0/-0)

a) How about this? Suggested "insane person" tempts one to ignore "in sanus" (within sound) + "per sonos" (by sound) aka being within and by perceivable sound (as the responding resonance or dissonance).

b) CRAZY, adjective - "broken"...being partial (perceiving) within whole (perceivable) implies broken aka parted (life) through violence (inception towards death).

Sleight of hand for those with eyes to see: "You drive me crazy, I just can't sleep...I'm so excited, I'm in too deep"

How about this, some one’s behavior deviates from the norm. We get them real help, not this crazy version of mental health treatment we see today. We tell them to their face, they are crazy and need help. We don’t “accept” that the way they are is normal and healthy, I was born this way bullshit has got to end.

one’s behavior deviates from the norm

a) if natural order (inception toward death) represents norm; then being within (life) implies ones need to resist the want to follow.

b) the few suggest NORM to tempt the many to respond alike, hence "where everybody knows your name"... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VXED2AVlbR0&themeRefresh=1

c) way (inception towards death) generates deviation (life) aka internal divide of whole into partials. Others suggest progressivism to tempt one to follow along the way; along norms of behavior; along the party-line; along suggested orders.Meanwhile...those suggesting progressivism are resisting the norm, hence revolting (turning) from those who follow along.

d) behavior aka behave aka being and having...if being implies within; out of and in response to motion; then choosing to posses (have) tempts one to ignore the need to let go, while resisting the want to hold onto.

HAVE, verb - "to possess; to hold in possession or power"...if having life implies possessing it; then why is life always running out?

We get them real help

a) inception towards death (temptation) generates life (resistance)...resisting temptation helps life to sustain self longer...unless ignored for seeking help from others.

b) suggested pluralism (we) tempts perceiving singular (one) to ignore self. Why do the few suggest "we the people" while utilizing "chosen ones" (aka one with choice) for self? Rules for thee (plural) but not for me (singular). Why do you think a few can control any group shaped by the many?

Because if you’re acting nutty and it affects my well being or the safety of my family. I’m going to deal with it. No matter what (((society))) says is the norm

Mental illness is real. The problem is Jews don't want the mentally ill to be cured, because they enjoy the mentally ill. WTF is your problem? Are you a Jewish troll, or a real idiot?

is real

a) only if everything perceivable "was" (reality) can one shape suggestions about what it "is" (fiction)...only oneself can discern between reality (perceivable) and fiction (suggested).

b) is real aka "israel"...

He is using big word sentences but pushing a twisted agenda if you look at all his posts.
Pathos is not a motion or movement.. it is mentally following a leader/personality/opinion of another with a fervour that is illogical. Obedience to what your chosen authority/personality/leader states in a mindlessly accepting manner.
Logos/Ethos/Pathos
Logic. Emotion. Social follower.
Three paths to follow in life.
Lefties are the ethos.
We are the Logos. (Mostly)
And the Qanon and Trump ppl are the pathos.
Each is a unique way of handling issues.
Results vary.

Actually, it is a detectable physical retardation of various parts of the brain; you can scientifically observe this mental illness/damage.

It’s ok to not trust those with unstable and defective organs; I wouldn’t trust an epileptic diabetic that has had multiple bypass surgeries as a mountain climbing buddy - and I wouldn’t trust these retards with my kids.

retardation

RET'ARD, verb - "to diminish the velocity of motion"...can one diminish the velocity of motion, while being (life) within motion (inception towards death)? What if being alive implies growing temporary resistance within the ongoing velocity of motion?

Being implies RE (response to) MOVE (being moved by), hence ones struggle to sustain self within the process of dying. Suggesting each other to be retarded tempts one to ignore that.

Yes, a slowing down of nerve signal movement is considered retardation.

There are many things in psychology and psychiatry that should be criticized, but mental illness is real.

Mental illness is a genetic mutation. 80% of your DNA is for your mind.

A healthy mind is prosocial and pro life. Dysgenic behaviors are caused by mutation.

[ - ] ImplicationOverReason 0 points 1.9 yearsJul 9, 2023 14:14:13 ago (+0/-0)

genetic mutation

Generation (motion) implies mutation (change)...others suggest "genetic mutations" to distract from that.

[ - ] StealthNinjaTaliban 0 points 1.9 yearsJul 9, 2023 18:47:04 ago (+0/-0)

You are a mutant

pathologized by society.

a) a suggested LOGOS (word) like society (togetherness) tempts one to ignore that perceivable PATHOS aka path (inception towards death) sets itself apart (life). Nature sets itself apart...those within tempt each other together.

b) pathological behavior implies ones ignorance of pathos (perceivable) for logos (suggested). Suggested scientism tempts one to ignore perceivable SCI'ENCE, noun [Latin scio, to know.] aka KNOWL'EDGE, noun - "perception of that which exists"...not the suggestions by others about it.

standards have changed

Standard (inception towards death) generates unconventional (life) through change...others suggest standards to tempt one to convent (assemble), while ignoring to be ONE, hence set apart from other ones, not assembled together.

Come on dummy. You've never seen a schizophrenic in the wild?

We used to call them "seers", "oracles", "spiritwalkers", or "shaman".

It is real. As a nurse I see how some people have chemical imbalances and it screws them up.
Taking meds helps balance them.
And pedos are a disorder. God did not make them that way, their brains got screwed by the groomers that molested them.
Some are so mentally jacked up they do the same cycles to other kids.
God did NOT make them that way. There is no "born wanting to Fuck kids".
