As a veteran you are "upgraded" in the hiring process because essentially you are just transferring departments which is why so many land in Border Patrol. Affirmative Action is still alive and well in the Federal Government so you get niggers that no one else will hire.
The USPS is not what it was in my youth, that's for sure.
