How the f..k do I turn off the PC with Windows 11?

Bought a new PC that runs Windows 11 and I can't find the "turn off" button so I'm turning off the computer via its little switch on the tower which is unusual in itself as all my other PCs only had start-up buttons on the tower. Thank you and may god save your queen.

My last laptop probably works better. It’s 13 years old. It’s had fifty viruses. Been heated to 100+ degrees. The keyboard doesn’t work on account of a soda. I bet it’s still faster. Idk much about computers and I would try im just afraid to fuck my shit up and make it unusable. I really can’t stress how slow my computer is. It’s like psychological torture trying to use it when you’re in a hurry

I would open it up clean it with isopropyl alcohol to clean out all the soda from both the computer and keyboard then test the keyboard to see if it works. If not I would replace the keyboard with a new one. I would think Alcohol would fix it up though. I have used it on my keyboards its safe to use on electronics as its non conductive and cleans well

Hit the windows key,

a search window pops up, with pinned apps and recommended apps.

On the lower right corner is a circle, mouse over it, it says power

Click on that, it may give you additional options like reset, etc.

If hold shift and then click power it will fully power down, otherwise it's in fast power up state.

The full power down is useful if the windows drive is shared with Linux and you want it writable

I actually know quite a bit about fuck all when it comes to computers...but I did read my share of Popular Mechanics books along with engaging in the stoic philosophy of synthetic propellants...as for my "queen", she's confined to the "tower", with the chopping block...hopefully this answers all your questions and if you need any further assistance, on anything at all, please feel free to submit another pathetic post begging for help...I'm here to help.

It still beats my computer. My laptop is so bad. It was a present and I don’t want to sound ungrateful. It’s 5-6 years old now. Even when it was new though. Wanna use an internet browser? Ok it’s gonna take several minutes to load. Oh you wanna go to a website? That’s too bad that’ll be 45 seconds. God forbid I try torrenting and streaming at the same time

Yup, I've been looking at a new iMac, but this 2013 model still runs fine. 38 years with no problems, but finally got one of Gate's covidhoax machines for those 'windows only' games.

Son recently built one of those for me for gaming. In the lower left there should be a 'window' icon. Click that, then immediately above a 'power' icon should appear. Click that and you have sleep, shutdown, and other options. It's a lot clunkier than OSX, but that should work.
