I found a bomb. Brought it to the housing office. I can still remember the firefighter kneeling next to me and saying next time, just tell us where it is, you don’t have to bring it in. A few years later a group of boys my age were killed by one of those bombs. That’s what happens when you build houses on a former artillery range. Edit: yes when my buddy and I sauntered in, the employees jumped out the windows and ran away! We had no idea. Two chuckleheads carrying a mortar round and saying look what we found! My mother never knew about it.

I thought that would be suspicious but no it’s not something nefarious. I was a military brat. I lived in navy housing. There was an office that administers the area. We actually lived in a very nice area. Cherished by the locals. It was nice except for the former artillery range. But amongst us kids it was heaven on earth. We ranged out for miles in unexplored (to us) wilderness. It’s part of what makes me a survivor today, except for the blown up part. Look it up Murphy Canyon in San Diego. The civilian side was tierrasanta.

My sister and I had a few weird things happen to us. Nothing too bizarre just very small poltergeisty things. No explanation just odd things

Only to find out years later I was complaining to my older sister about this game "Charlie Charlie" that I caught my daughter and her friend about to play and THEN she told me how she played with an ouija board while at her friends house in Alabama. That bitch. We were younger so of course whatever she brought back home with her latched on to us.

After telling her off immediatley called the other one to tell her and wooo she was pissed too! It followed her longer so I understand.

Yeah. I was about 8 miles from home when we hit the wood bridge. 3/4's of the way across my bike tire slipped in a gap between the wood beams. The bike stopped instantly, and, of course, I did not! Road rash all over! Then I had to carry my bike back home while bleeding all over! Fun times.
