How many of those words were "fuck", "nigger" and "jew". Oh and "faggot".

See, nothing to worry about with Ai. It will all get legislated and sued into being totally useless.

There were some lawsuits that made scraping definitely legal over 10 years ago so the precedent is that if it's out there in a public space that it's legal to scrape it. Now if they were getting other information that was not out in the public space then that may be different.

Personally I'm glad they did it. Chat GPT is incredible. And so are the other ones. And I just hope the other ones get to scrape all the data too because they have all that data under the control of all these cakes instead of some of these open source AIS that are now coming along to compete with openai it's far better. And when Google starts really losing money they're going to have a hard time maintaining the records of all the stuff they digitized so we damn well need to get copies of it and get it into other forms as fast as we can. They digitized all those books and when Google starts well they're already starting to crack down and on their expenditures and I'm just really worried what's going to happen to all that stuff they digitize cuz that stuff can never be digitized again.
