I celebrate the 4th of July for a different reason than most. My little brother was born on the 4th of July. He used to tell me the fireworks were for his birthday and when I was a kid that would piss me off. Now when I watch the fireworks I tell my brother they're for him. RIP Bro.

My dad used to snow ski at a local small mountain. On his 83 birthday he went skiing…he had a season’s pass and used it daily. On that day he had a serious stroke from which he never recovered.

I spread some of his ashes at the top of that ski area.

You did good by your brother.
