My initial reaction is to attribute the disappearance of content to curation; someone reported "Nazi" content or the like and there's no evidence whatsoever to substantiate that; just a gut feeling.
The point of me mentioning it at all is to raise awareness to what's going on, regardless of the motive, or absence thereof.
Would be great if there were more/better image hosts.
I've tried using @x0x7 's image host, https://gvid.tv/ and it doesn't seem to like me.
With smutty horse and a lot of the pomf sites down, the list of reliable content hosts is growing thin.
That what makes content disappearing from Catbox all the more concerning.
It's weird how it manifests, just a plain text 404 message.
Doesn't matter if I impute the URL from the local file name or if I upload it again, some content just won't appear.
It's hard to establish a pattern since more or less all of the content I post there has one thing in common - the kind of thing that has a tendency to make content disappear :)

I suppose either way the answer is far too often.
In the case of Catbox links becoming invalid, a lot lately.
I've been making a note of it as it occurs and I'm not the only one who's noticed it.
