Absolutely. Dogs can be trained, so if you have dogs ripping up your house, the onus is on you for not training/ exercising your dogs correctly.

At bedtime I clap my hands twice....maybe three times, and say, "it's bedtime, let's go" and before my hands touch again that bitch is scurrying down, over, through wherever she's hiding to haul ass through her kitty hole to her bed downstairs.

It's funny to watch I guess, or so I'm told. It took about a month.

My point is that it can be done to some extent.

Cats won't eat spoiled food. They were kept by people in ancient times to help ensure they weren't sickened by food going rancid or poison in some cases. Additionally, they kill vermin.
