Since I don't get embarrassed.

I don't really give a fuck what most of you fucktards think. But let's say I felt bad and made a short poem. All poets have them. And let's say it was this.
I took more than I gave. But alone I stayed. I tried to give back and the sins still stacked. All I wanted was love but pain fits like a glove.

I think it's romantic. What do you faggots think?

Yes it's a pity the subverses are not in alphabetical order but what I do is download the submission pro forma (Discuss/Link etc) and type in the name of the subverse in the subverse box. There is another way...something like r or v/blah blah but I'm not PC smart enough for that. @Ragnar probably is 'cos he's a mommy's boy.

Yeah. I love poetry. Just haven't tried it in a while. But I used to write it all the time. Pain is better than indifference. In fact that's why we fell in love. I would read her poetry. But I wouldn't say mine had any effect. Lol. We always do the teeney bopper lazy crap of sending each other song lyrics. I want to to try and write something meaningful. But it's been a while. I'm a hopeless romantic for sure. Always my favorite movies and TV shows. From pretty woman to get smart to the x files always involved couples who weren't supposed to be together.

Alot of poems are. It's about imagining the authors feelings while writing it. Not necessarily how it makes you feel.

I'd say don't half ass your formatting and properly write it like a poem for if you're not embarrassed that it's a poem.

For our original, ancestral Gods of Europe poetry was something noble to aspire to and poetry was closely associated with wisdom and knowledge. There's a story where the mead of poetry (which allows anyone who drinks it to become an amazing poet) is sought after and taken by Odin, who is the chief among the Gods, and who rules over victory in war, berserker rage, and great wisdom.

So not gay, but very manly and esteemed. The only reason anyone calls it gay is we live in upside down clown world where truth is hated.

Too late in life the Author realised his mistakes and that people tend to be unforgiving, leaving the Author abandoned and friendless.

"All I wanted was love but pain fits like a glove."

The Author acknowledges he had vulnerabilities that made him selfish and self-centred but if he had been loved, those vulnerabilities would have healed and he would have developed differently but it didn't happen and all that remains is pain.

'sins still stacked' is a forced rhyme; it is clumsy and stops the reader from thinking about emotion, and makes them think about the words.

It's like a rough cut gemstone. There's definitely beauty there, but with a little work with precision it could shine light from what seems to be a thousand facets and angles.

Don't shy away from poetry bro. It's not gay, it's not trivial. Every song lyric you hear is poetry personified by music. If you really want to, you can steer hearts with a single stanza.
