Of all the bear brawls I've seen there's never been a fight to the death and the power they exert is equal to that of their opponent...there's been the odd patch of hide torn off but 10minutes after the fight they're 50ft away from each other chowing down on their lunch like nothing happened...but the strength in these animals is incomprehensible, but black bears, even a 700lb bruin, can't compete with these beasts.

@NuckFiggers...I was wondering if anyone caught that...that's total exhaustion, energy spent but they recover quickly...I've seen that with cubs that have gotten grabbed by a big male bear and they're pinned down by the throat, the bigger bear can snap their necks off and kill them instantly but it doesn't turn out that way all the time, most often the cub gets a good shaking and near-death experience but no final blow and in most cases the mother gets there in time to drive off the male...all the bears I have here and not once a fight to the death but one thing's for sure a human does not want to get in between them.

Honestly the most impressive part of a grizzly fight is the strength of there skin.
