First of all, I didnt watch the video.

But I feel very strongly that we are lumping a bunch of people together who should be distinguished separately when we say “East Asian” or “Han Chinese”. The Han are not a single people. The government promotes that idea for its own benefit. The original Han where some group from the Beijing area closely related to japanese and koreans. Little by little they conquered a large empire over 2000 years. Areas that have been assimilated for 1000 years or more have largely lost their identities and languages. There has also been some mixing. But in the south the people are more like the Thai and the Vietnamese and Burmese, etc. Those groups ar much more corrupt and violent, like southern europe is relative to northern europe.

In genetic studies, Chinese people appear on a cline between koreans/japanese and vietnamese, etc, on PCA charts. Maybe Ill look one up and post it. But the Han are essentially a manufactured group. They are ususally distinguished as “chinese beijing” and “ chinese south” in these studies. Their versions of chinese language are incomprehensible because the south adopted chinese as a foreign language of conquerors. Their “real” languages are Burmo-Tibetan, Vietic, Hmong, Thai and Austronesian, which are still spoken in a few isolated places in China.

There are really similar trends from North to South that you see in western Eurasia . People are more violent, corrupt, stupider as you go south. All the AIDS is in south China. I dont believe southern Chinese are high IQ people. You dont walk across a border in Vietnam and then suddenly see a 20 point IQ drop irl.
