Aggression is a polygenic trait. Melanin is on of those genes for sure. So is testoterone but all men dont stab each other.

Violence seems to be highest in warmer months with more direct sunlight.

Melanotan 2 is well known for causing priapism but I was interested in whether their were other behavioral shifts. I just found this reddit post in which the users seem to complain of nervousness alot. https://old.reddit.com/r/Melanotan2/comments/undbcy/melanotan_ii_mental_health_effectsmood_and/


I did read somewhere that red heads process pain differently. Red heads have a reputation for being hot headed. Ive got to say that Ive never noticed it personally.

Ive also seen it suggested that darker pigmentation was related to more gregariousness and “happy” behavior. James Watson seemed to suggest there was a link there. Everybody always remarks about how friendly brown people are when they visit the Caribbean or Thailand or India but people always get stabbed in those places too. Are the two traits related? Maybe there is just more emotional lability in people with more pigmentation.

That could be a polar bear type situation. As Ive said elsewhere, aggression makes more sense in places where polygamy is higher. There may have been some cultural differences btween the irish and the scandis that accounts for the different behavioral patterns.

Im left wondering: are niggers more violent and promiscuous because they evolved black skin to cope with intense sun? Did they develop black skin because violence and promiscuity were useful in their environments? Or both?

Its suggested that whites developed really white skin in response to diets high in grain and low in Vitiamin D. But maybe white skin is of more behavioral benefit when living in highly cooperative densely packed nations? Maybe light skinned people get along better because of white skin. If so why arent there any white or blond chinamen? Founder effect maybe? Maybe chinky eyes make people get along better too? Well Im just rambling at this point.

But clearly lighter skinned people in cold climates favor a group selection strategy with low in-group competition in contrast to the random humping and homocide strategies that may be partly implemented by melanin.
