Now: 30 days after the warranty expires it's totaled due to a mechanical issue. It was only a $2 gasket, but you have to take the entire vehicle apart to access it.

No. I had a '58 when I was younger. Should have kept it. I also had a '78 champagne bus. Luckily both of those are in the hands of my friend that got me into VW. Right now I only have an MK4 GTI VR6 and my wife has a Tiguan R Line.
