I'm thinking of kratky or DWC.
Has anyone tried those?

I have been using dwc to grow peppers. Works fantastic.

I was thinking of just some leafy stuff for the winter, but a smaller pepper might be a good idea. maybe a thai pepper or something sweet...

I just did some cherry bombs. Never had them before, they were pretty good. About as hot as a jalapeño. I'm currently working on habaneros and swiss chard.

I've used DWC and some of my stuff grew like crazy. Kale plants started lifting the lights. I got absolute gobs of arugula.

I legitimately don’t understand what I’m doing wrong. They just don’t grow. Like it’s just watering them and feeding them sun. I have no idea what I’m doing wrong. Shouldn’t it be they either grow or die? Wel they’re not dying. So I don’t get it. I just want to pickle peppers

Are you using nutrients? I use fox farm.

if you are trying to grow in soil, then maybe get the soil tested. my garden was doing horrible, so i had the soil tested and found out i was WAY low on nitrogen.
if you are trying to grow hydroponic, then maybe the water chemistry? if you feel the nutrient is ok, then maybe the pH. maybe algae in the solution?
hard to know. create a separate post, and add some pics.

DWC is just as easy as kratky, I think so at least. Decent bubblers are cheap and pretty easy to setup. Plants seem to love it all and make healthy roots. Very big healthy leaves on the Kale..

My one setup; I have running a recirculating dwc system, and also some aeroponics. There is a water loop with a filter. so less frequent water changes are needed. I tried to automate a lot of it, its a lot of fun to do. haven't had issues outside of pH drift.

DWC is great. best of luck!
