I'm not caught up on the situation but time ago in Damascus russia ceased antiair defemnse per US' request so that they could bomb wagner to "teach them a lesson"
In short, a heavily armed Wagner force with multiple vehicles was approaching a position held by US forces, as part of an organized attack with Syrian forces. US command reached out to Russia, asking if these were theirs and advising to turn back immediately if so. Russia claimed to have no knowledge and that they weren't Russians. So US proceeded to blow them to kingdom come.
I learned of this in the video of or in a commentary video surrounding the event of Wagners interrogating a Russian military official after he had ordered his division to fire on Wagner.
He wasn't shy about his belief that the military was holding out supplies despite his men's success on the battlefield. Perhaps he feels snubbed in some way
Wagner and the Russian MOD have been having a very bad back and forth ever since the middle of the Bakhmut campaign. Eventually Putin called in Prigozhin (Wagner CEO) and the head of the MOD to personally speak to them, probably telling them to chill the fucking fuck out or both of them are going to find a very high window to fall out of.
Lately though, Prigozhin has been making more disparaging comments about the MOD and how Wagner basically carried the Russian Army in the area, which they admittedly did.
Now, are we helping fan the flames? Sure. But this looks like "power posturing" by Prigozhin and genuine disgust with the MOD.

What it looks like is Prgozhin having a holyshit moment as he realizes or comes to the believe at least, that hes been carrying the whole thing, and with one swift reversal of loyalty, he thinks he can assist foreign powers (or use the external pressure, along with a timed blow) to install himself, or a puppet as head of russia.
Thats assuming any of this true, which is doubtful.
The other model is that this is strategic infighting to bait NATO while russia appears weak, so russia can finish the job in ukraine before things turn into a longer, more drawn out mess.
I don't enjoy being correct that we are in a slow boil in which every "event" is planned to slowly whittle away our rights and living standard.
A lot of things make way more sense if you assume gorbachev ceded to the west, for the same reason the u.s. aided them against germany--for the same reason the u.s. felt comfortable exporting 90% of our heavy industry, including military production to china--for the same reason the u.s. helped mao take over china--for the same reason america is what it is to today, along with most of the other major nations--for the same reason the soviet union suddenly collapsed and closed up shop instead of turning into a shitshow like most empires have done in the past:
The u.s, russia, and china have unofficially been running as one semi-unified government behind the scenes, heavily coordinating our militaries, industries, and all tied together by strongly cooperating intelligence apparatchiks, effectively bypassing national sovereignty behind the scenes for decades.
And now its all falling apart, because alliances aren't permanent, but interests are.
Well, if we're going to be at war, guess we all need to rally around hunter and joe biden and not prosecute them now for being the fucking grifting criminals that they are. Anyone who says otherwise is a traitor. Wag the dog.

Generally I believe nothing I can't confirm.
Who benefits from people believing this? What details or extrapolations change if this is true? and if it isn't?
