There’s that 2 tiered justice system again they keep insisting doesn’t exist. Like an aberration that only appears when a democrat needs one and then, poof! We’re back to fairly prosecuting Trump for the exact same crime every one of his predecessors committed.

Oh sure sure. Every time I have to go to court I Always get to decide what charges I agree to plead and any other charges, of course, are dropped. LOL

I wasn't being serious. I was making a joke about the 2 tiered system.
Yes, things go a lot smoother when you get the right lawyer, but normal folks don't get to decide what they get charged with. Normal folks get charged with the crimes they may or may not have committed.
Yes. Some people get their charges reduced and some may even be thrown out, but nobody in the real world gets to "plead" to the 2 least charges they have while very serious crimes go ignored.

You can't choose your charges, but if you don't fuck up too badly your attorney can talk the feds out of taking the case. Assuming you're not the son of a dictator with discount codes to apply to the total.
