Its not just exhausting all options. They wanted to be as prepared for a fight as possible, because if they lost, they hung. Many of them in those decades already knew a fight was coming. Remember, when you see people write "keep stacking" in response to some grievance, that represents a non-zero probability that some number of people out there in society are not just talking about it, but actually preparing for it.
It represents the belief that political solutions have failed.

Theres a concerted effort by sundry whiners, faggots, actual homosexuals, and other categories of officials on u.s. or foreign intelligence payrolls, trying to provoke early militarized responses, or otherwise demoralize people. This usually comes in the form of responses like "you'll do nothing", "nothing will ever happen.", "no one will ever fight back."

If you see these, or refute these, the follow up is usually something along the lines of "two more weeks", "keep waiting", "yeah I'm sure you will do nothing", etc, etc. The posters you're seeing and responding to are mostly ukrainian expats working for rose city antifa.

I know because one of the he-shes that used to work for them got kicked out and leaked their discord channels to me out of spite.

I remember back in the dawn of time, when dinosaurs still roamed the Earth, while I was going through the application process for the US Border Patrol (back in the days when it was still under the Dept. of Justice) the running joke was that the ATF was that you applied for when you were completely unqualified for anything else I.E. FBI, Treasury, US Marshals, Border Patrol, etc.
