Here's my thought. I think we should be flexible in which side we take. We currently have the admins and the mods at odds with each other. We should make an effort to keep it that way and make them feel like their way out is appealing to the users. We have plenty of reason to hate the admins of reddit. But we also have plenty of reason to hate the mods of reddit. Why does either one assume our loyalty?

Our question for either side should be what are you going to do to give us more freedom to express our actual opinions? And we can put our foot down and press in in favor of what ever side gives a better answer.

The admin is suggesting users could vote out mods. I'm listening. I'm only impressed slightly but so far he's the first side to offer anything to the users. What are the mods giving? We supported the mods just long enough to make sure the conflict was possible. Now that we have that going its time to start taking advantage. And the mods need to offer something besides assuming our loyalty just because reddit evil for wanting to price out competitors that use their content (which is actually very reasonable). In every way I think reddit is more meaningfully evil the mods are equally as bad. So no loyalty to either side. Give us free expression or we pile on. Which ever side concedes to that first gets a break.

Reddit is a joke. The mods are a joke. If they cared they would shut it all down for good.
