I posted about this a while ago, but seatbelt laws are the first generation of "guilty until proven innocent" laws.

1) what actual proof did the cop have for giving the ticket? Most dashcams and other sensors are limited in viewing and angles to see the seatbelt.

2) if you didn't admit it, or had it off when the cop pulled you over, here is one defense in court - not a lawyer, may or may not work:

Ask for the proof of the crime.

If there is no actual photo or video of you driving with the seatbelt off, then it really boils down to your word against the cops - unless you have proof of being innocent by having a video of the seatbelt on.

If it does end up your word against the cops, the judge will most likely rule in favor of the zogbot and the (((fine))).

Then turn to the judge and ask why the word of a police officer is worth more than your word. Aren't people equal in the eyes of the law?

Again ask for the proof, and then claim your rights are being violated under the 5th amendment, in that every person is innocent until "proven" guilty. When the entire case is a zogbot's word against yours, then the corrupt jewdicial system will have to prove that the zogbot somehow is a better witness than the one inside the car.

Another thought - if you are innocent and have proof, such as a video (I doubt a photo is sufficient, due to the technology of altering etc,) then find out what the penalty is for a zogbot a) falsely claiming you were not wearing a seatbelt (should be in the seatbelt law, but most of these laws that I have read have zero penalty for false citations) and b) for perjury, if you allow the filthy zogbot to get on the stand in front of the judge and you ask for the proof, many times, and each time is just the zogbot's word.

Perjury, after showing the video evidence, should get the zogbot a healthy penalty, because even though the jewdicial system is corrupt to the core, most judges hate being lied to, and if the questioning is such that several false claims are recorded in the transcript, then there is little wiggle room for a judge to even give a pass for the perjury.

Bonus points for finding a lawyer that is willing to take any appeals all the way to SCOTUS and get all of these "guilty until proven innocent" laws overturned.

I have a Valentine One. It's not 100% "cop finder" but it certainly tells me when the cops have their "sensors" active and are generally bored.
