Reddit has been fucked for 13 years lmfao

[ - ] Belfuro 2 points 11 monthsJun 14, 2023 15:49:03 ago (+2/-0)

And redditors become sub humans.
Its no exaggeration to say that reddit damages the brain.

[ - ] TheNoticing 2 points 11 monthsJun 14, 2023 21:23:54 ago (+2/-0)

I bet their mods like to fuck 13 year olds too.

[ - ] TheYiddler 10 points 11 monthsJun 14, 2023 09:21:26 ago (+10/-0)

And those jannies were doing it for free up until then. Look at how they are rewarded for their service.

Useful idiots always wind up against the wall when they outlive their usefulness.

The profiteering jew cries out as it strikes you.

Being a reddit user is a demand for abuse.

[ - ] 12098 1 point 11 monthsJun 14, 2023 11:46:43 ago (+1/-0)

the first time is a blessing as you finally leave for greener pastures

[ - ] Lost_In_The_Thinking 4 points 11 monthsJun 14, 2023 09:31:24 ago (+5/-1)

Who cares? There's nothing on reddit that's worth reading anyway.

[ - ] Niggly_Puff 10 points 11 monthsJun 14, 2023 09:37:03 ago (+10/-0)

That's ignorant. You have to apply site:reddit.com to a google search query to get any actual results related to your search. There is still a fuck ton of useful info on reddit.

[ - ] Conspirologist [op] 3 points 11 monthsJun 14, 2023 10:26:47 ago (+3/-0)

That's right. He looks like a shill. Shills always say Reddit is useless, despite the fact that Reddit has still big communities for topics that don't talk about politics.

[ - ] Broc_Liath 0 points 11 monthsJun 14, 2023 14:04:25 ago (+0/-0)

It's also the unofficial tech support forum for a large number of projects. No reddit account = no support.

[ - ] lolxd 0 points 11 monthsJun 14, 2023 13:08:56 ago (+2/-2)

using google to search reddit, you're a special kind of stupid

[ - ] PhantomXLII 0 points 11 monthsJun 14, 2023 13:25:57 ago (+0/-0)

mmhmm

Dig around enough and there's a lot of useful stuff or at least things to consider you may not have before. Lifting advice, injury prevention, tech help when you stick 32gb of RAM in your PC and enable XMP but it won't restart ....

Yeah!

Good stuff.

And the rare based one that racks up downvotes like nobody's business but thinks it's hilarious.

[ - ] TheNoticing 0 points 11 monthsJun 14, 2023 21:25:17 ago (+0/-0)

There's professional-level research on some of the financial subreddits.

[ - ] Lost_In_The_Thinking 0 points 11 monthsJun 14, 2023 23:08:29 ago (+0/-0)

Is it available elsewhere without all of the reddit faggotry and libtard modding?

[ - ] stz77 3 points 11 monthsJun 14, 2023 12:34:23 ago (+3/-0)

There is a fight on the internet and the world between free speech and (((elite))) controlled speech.

It's the same thing with money.

[ - ] GreenSaint 1 point 11 monthsJun 14, 2023 14:39:26 ago (+1/-0)

I have too much of a spine to be on Reddit although I will thank it for being the first forum type thing which lead me to voat which lead me to poal which lead me to here. But fuck Reddit. Such a pathetic place and the people who cowtail their opinions and walk on eggshells to not offend some random faggot with “power” somewhere. It’s soy. It’s embarrassing. Again pathetic. Idk I can’t do that. Maybe that’s why rebellions happen, there’s people like me and us and there’s people like them who will do what they’re told without a peep. YOU BE A GOOD LITTLE BITCH AND YOU THINK WHAT WE TELL YOU TO THINK

[ - ] Nosferatjew 1 point 11 monthsJun 14, 2023 14:14:44 ago (+1/-0)

I do not give a fuck about any reddit drama. Burn it to the ground.

[ - ] LostWhale 1 point 11 monthsJun 14, 2023 13:53:17 ago (+1/-0)

Personally, I hope it dies. I used to use it for so much, I've been banned for nothing. Stuff and ideas that nobody would have batted an eye at prior to 2016.

So, I'm good. Let it die. Maybe someone will replace it with something that isn't poison.

[ - ] heebiejeebies 0 points 11 monthsJun 14, 2023 18:35:25 ago (+0/-0)

I don't understand why they're so upset; I thought faggots LIKED getting fucked in the ass.

[ - ] Jinglebanger 0 points 11 monthsJun 14, 2023 18:19:27 ago (+0/-0)

Well, hopefully it will ruin the little bubble world they live in. Even brainwashed types will start bleating once something personally affects them. Now, how many of them connect the dots to how this applies to other situations in life, who knows.

Protesting is only tolerated as long as it is convenient, at which point force is used.

[ - ] letsgetit 0 points 11 monthsJun 14, 2023 17:46:34 ago (+0/-0)

A dose of water to the face of these leftwing mods. Oh no...

[ - ] jigganiggaboo 0 points 11 monthsJun 14, 2023 15:42:03 ago (+0/-0)

I would live to see thatwebsite collapse. All the faggots would probably exodus to discord though or another website

[ - ] letsgetit 1 point 11 monthsJun 14, 2023 17:47:49 ago (+1/-0)

So another controlled medium. Then rinse and repeat the same shit 10 years from now

[ - ] big_fat_dangus 0 points 11 monthsJun 14, 2023 14:25:47 ago (+1/-1)

Reddit is gay and anyone who goes there is a fag. Case closed.

[ - ] RedBarchetta 0 points 11 monthsJun 14, 2023 11:03:28 ago (+0/-0)

What precipitated this motion? I'd like to think they just didn't do it because they wanted to.

[ - ] Trollasaurus 5 points 11 monthsJun 14, 2023 11:11:02 ago (+5/-0)

Reddit had a handful of programmers make 3rd party programs that would interact with the site in various ways. Supposedly to make it easier to browse or customize the user experience. Not super sure what they did or how it worked.
Anyways, in order for these programs to work, they need Reddit's API access; pretty typical networking stuff. Reddit determined that giving API access for free (like 90% of websites) was wasted profits. So they decided to start charging for API access.
What price did they settle on? One million dollars. Monthly.
Obviously, the indie devs who made these programs aren't pulling in 7figures a month to pay for this so all their stuff had to be shut down. This pissed off the Reddit users so much that in protest the subreddit mods and admins started setting their subs to private. So many major subs went private that it bricked the front page of Reddit because the algorithm didn't know what to show people.

[ - ] CoronaHoax 1 point 11 monthsJun 14, 2023 12:09:07 ago (+1/-0)

One million? Seriously?

[ - ] Trollasaurus 3 points 11 monthsJun 14, 2023 12:18:12 ago (+3/-0)

Yeah you can't make the shit up. 1 million dollars a month they thought was a fair price. It wasn't even like a Jew-y "we want $20/mo for something that used to be free" it was a straight up Dr. Evil moment. "One MILLION dollars!"

[ - ] Wahaha 3 points 11 monthsJun 14, 2023 12:43:39 ago (+3/-0)

The way I heard it was $20 million per year, so even more.

[ - ] Acrophonic 1 point 11 monthsJun 14, 2023 11:06:49 ago (+1/-0)

Subs switched to private and couldn't be seen as some kind of data strike, so reddit admins forced them back to open
