Anyhow, on to the topic at hand- I've always been a Zelda fan, and Nintendo fan in general. One of the reasons for this is, obviously, Nintendo has always made great games and I have fond memories of playing through some of their greatest hits while growing up. I generally like their game design philosophy and have always appreciated the quality embued into their products.
That being said, I've been playing the latest Zelda game and noticed a few peculiar things, namely the promotion of furry culture and beastiality. Anyone else notice this? In the game, princess Zelda is sent back in time due to events shown at the beginning, and she soon finds out that the founding rulers of the Kingdom of Hyrule (her ancestors) consisted of a Hylian (human) woman and King Rauru (anime goat man). Thoughts on this? Is this just weird Japanese anime shit?

The Zelda series has the worst story around, they've been using the same names and races for decades because they have no originality. People have attempted to create timelines for the series, but the creator himself has said don't bother and to consider each game a separate entity. Of course then they go and create sequels anyway.
The series has always been about the gameplay. Don't sweat it.
Because both the story and timeline are completely unimportant. It's a heros journey. Same as every video game. Change all those name and details all you want, it's all still the same story. Zelda simply acknowledges this. Slay a dragon, rescue the princess, save the world.
The timeline is just retconned nonsense. Nintendo didn't know Zelda would blow up and need an overarching lore. So you get the bullshit timeline.

I use rimworld to practice my intolerance but then I end up emotionally invested in my based empire of pawns. Not really, but when one of my favorites die I basically start over.
