Why is every female country song about being a whore? - Upgoat

Mainstream country isn't country. There's plenty of female artists that aren't whores, but if you don't actively look for more underground music you'll never find them. Want some suggestions?

For many yeas now the difference between any popular modern music is quite small from a musical perspective. One of the ways they differentiate C&W from Pop, for instance, is through the lyrics. You'll never hear about drinking beer and riding around in trucks in any genre but C&W, for instance.

But the "I am a whore" is pretty rife in all popular music. It's pedaled as female empowerment, of course, which is such a monumental pile of BS but that's another discussion.

I recall reading recently that Christina Agulara (sp?) likes sucking cock because of the protein. I mean not only is she glorifying being a whore but cum has very little protein so she's admitting how ill-informed she is. Much empowering so strong. every male country song sounds the same. drivin down a dirt road eatin fried chicken, my truck, drinkin, etc. Many of the new country stars are born privileged yuppie types and probably jewish. Real country is Merle Haggard. Listen to his biggest hits album. He was a very solid musician and clever lyricist. Country got ruined by that fat little manlet kike garth brookberg and that whiny jewish pussy vince gill.
