I gotta admit, it's pretty cool. But at the same time I hate the idea of mass adoption of VR. That's not a future I want to live in. Smart phones have fucked it up enough as is.
Just one more step toward the matrix, where we are all isolated in pods. Definitely a first step toward the realization of the sex machines from "Demolition Man" - but elon needs to get his neuro link added in and take away the screens.
Maybe we are already there, and the present is just a dream about the past.

A cool tech demo. Very niche use cases. Heavy to wear. Two hour battery life. And who is going to put on this headset to move some flat 2d windows around in 3d? That they keep pushing this angle is retarded.
I think this is going to be about as successful as Facebook's "Metaverse".
The entire goal of it is to allow people to change their IRL Avatar for AR so they can pretend they are women and dogs and shit. It's entirely degen and will prove to be a failed venture yet again.
