I have a German Shepherd and this tugs the heart strings. However, this was a dog handler, not a dog owner. If it was a well trained dog why not leave the car door open? Or a window. Was it not trained?
I don't think you should be leaving a dog confined in a kennel in a car for hours. I get that they are workers. This was predictable, though.
If your alarm is based on cheap chinese crap, as most of them are these days, I wouldn't trust it for anything. China ain't gonna bring your dog back, or in the case of a working dog even pay for your losses.
