20+ years ago, I took a trip across country to Colorado. I took a roundabout way to see lots of the country. I stopped in some three-building town in Montana (motel, restaurant, and something else). I was walking towards the restaurant to get something to eat, and noticed three local teenagers walking towards me from the opposite direction. They were all gothed out with nose piercings and black hair and those super big baggy pants and whatnot. There was a population of less than 100 in the town, but the kids still had access to all the MTV of the time and were totally ruined.
